At Yaddlethorpe Pre-School we are committed to providing an inclusive,nurturing
environment where every child is valued and supported to achieve their full potential.
We recognise that all children develop at different stages and that some may require
additional support. At Yaddlethorpe Pre -School we have experience working with
children with a variety of additional needs and medical conditions.
We work in accordance with the SEND code of practice 2015, the equality act 2010
and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)2025.
We take early action to identify and support any SEND and/or emerging needs using
the graduated approach. We work closely with parents/carers and other relevant
professionals and agencies to provide appropriate support.
We have a Special Educational Needs and Disability policy, this details how we use
the graduated approach to assess,plan,do and review to ensure each child's needs
are met. We have a named SENCO and Deputy who works closely with our Early
Years Educators to ensure children with additional needs/disabilities are supported
thoroughly.
